Northfleet Technology College

Football Academy

Our Football Academy provides a two year professional, structured programme of coaching, strength and conditioning, sport science and video analysis to allow players to develop at an elite level.

There is a heavy emphasis on skill development and teaching players how to play the modern game. Over the two years we aim to teach our athletes how to play and understand a variety of systems that will allow them to succeed wherever they go after the Academy, whether this be University, Semi or Professional teams.

My aim is to support any aspiring football player to fulfil their dream.

Paul Lorraine, Head Coach/Manager and Former Ebbsfleet United Captain

PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME

The varied weekly programme provides a variety of activities, balanced with the players’ academic commitments. Alongside daily training sessions, players will have training sessions every day, with up to 3 sessions some days. Additionally there will be 3 opportunities to gain coaching and officiating qualifications.

A typical week includes:

  • 4 Academy training sessions

  • 2 strength and conditioning sessions

  • 1 classroom/video session

  • 1-2 Academy games

  • Opportunities to play 1st and Reserve team football

This is a fantastic opportunity for local students to learn and develop in a professional environment.
