Exam Result Days

What to expect and next steps on results days...

When are Results Published?

Sixth Form Level 3 Results Day:                              Thursday 15 August 2024 9:00am – 12:00pm

GCSE & Level 2 Vocational Results Day:               Thursday 22 August 2024 9:00am – 12:00pm

How will I RECeiVE my results?

Results will be emailed to students’ school email address only between 8am and 9am on results day. They will also be available via the Exams section on Edulink

Students can also collect a paper version of their results from school between 9am and 12pm on the relevant day. Staff will also be available in Main Reception on results days to offer advice on what your results mean and support on accessing your planned next steps.

What will I receive on the day?

You will only get a Statement of Results on this day. It is important you keep this safe as you may need it when applying to your planned destination. Certificates are not available until the end of November and we will notify you in due course about how to collect them.

I can't collect my results in person, what can I do?

You can have your results posted to you if you supply a stamped self-addressed envelope to the Exams Office by 1 July.

Please note someone else cannot collect your results unless you have given them written permission and they have some personal identification with them when they come to school.

I have a query about my EXAM results, what do I do?

Staff will be available onsite to discuss your results and any queries you have on Results Days. You can also email exams@ntc.kent.sch.uk

If you wish to query any marks you receive for any of your exams you must first complete a consent form, which can be obtained from the Exams Office.  The cost of a remark varies between exam boards.  Prices vary between £50 to £70 per paper depending on the exam board.  Please check with the exams office for the correct fee.

Please be aware that when requesting a re-mark of an exam paper your mark could go down as well as up or even stay the same.

POST RESULTS CONSENT FORM

If you would like to make an enquiry about your result (a review of marking), there are 3 possible outcomes:

  • Your original mark will be confirmed as correct and there will be no change to your grade
  • Your original mark may be raised and this may or may not result in a change of grade
  • Your original mark may be lowered and this may or may not result in a change of grade

In order to proceed with the enquiry, please request a copy of the Candidate Consent Form For Results Enquiry from the Exams Office and returning it with the correct fee as soon as possible.  This tells the Exam Office staff that you have understood what the outcomes could be and that you are happy to proceed.

NO APPLICATIONS CAN BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THE CORRECT FEE AND CONSENT FORM.
