Northfleet Schools Unite for Wellbeing Walk Supporting Young People
Families from across the Northfleet Trust of schools, Shears Green Infant School and St George’s School are being invited to come together for A Light in the Dark—a special community wellbeing walk supporting young people’s mental health.
The event will take place at Cyclopark on Friday 9 October 2026. Gates will open at 4:30pm for registration, with the event beginning at 5:30pm.
At the heart of the evening is a wellbeing walk, with families encouraged to walk, talk and connect. The event will provide an opportunity to spend time together, enjoy the atmosphere and open up positive conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Money raised will support the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund and Blake’s Pink Promise—two incredible charities doing so much to support young people in our schools and wider community.
Alongside the walk, there will be a live DJ, live band, dancers, face and glow-painting, and glow items available to purchase. Representatives from wellbeing charities will also be there to speak with families, share information and highlight the support available to children and young people.
Tickets are limited to 1,000 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All children and young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets must be booked through Eventbrite:
