NTC Basketball, going beyond...in Italy!
The academy travelled to Roseto, Italy to compete in their first ever European Championship on Thursday in the The European Youth basketball League (EYBL).
The boys finished with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, beating the undefeated CAB Stamura Ancona in front of their hometown crowd on Sunday morning to finish out the group stage. The boys came from 11 points down and went on a 17-2 run to win the game!
To say we are proud is an understatement, never in our wildest dreams did we think we would win 3 games against some of the top academies across Europe. The boys finished the tournament 2nd in the group. Please see the results and group below.
