⚽ Rising Star: Casey Joins U13 Youth Academy

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible journey of Casey in Y8, whose footballing talent has earned him a place in a professional youth academy team.

Casey’s story began in August, when he was scouted during a friendly match for his grassroots club. His performance caught the eye of academy coaches, leading to a pre-season trial over the summer holidays. Following his impressive showing, Casey was invited to sign an official 8-week trial at the start of the season.

After weeks of hard work and dedication, Casey’s efforts paid off—he was offered a spot in the U13 youth academy team and signed a contract that runs through to the end of the 2026/2027 season. He now trains three times a week at the academy’s Sparrows Lane facility and competes in matches every Sunday.

Casey’s success is no surprise to us. Last year, he was a standout player in our school football team, earning the MVP award for his skill, sportsmanship, and leadership on the pitch.

We’re thrilled to see Casey’s passion and perseverance being recognised at such a high level. He’s an inspiration to his peers and a shining example of what dedication can achieve. Well done, Casey—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
