Athletics Academy

New for September 2025!

The Northfleet Athletics Academy will provide the students with a professional, structured programme of coaching, strength and conditioning and sport science to bridge the gap between school and university and to start the process two years earlier to allow the athletes to develop to an elite level.

Over the two years, we will aim to teach our athletes to understand the reasons behind the training and benefits it has for them to succeed long term, supporting their next steps after the academy whether that is in the UK or America.

With over 20+ years and counting experience as elite international athletes, Coach De’Ath has represented his country and has had great success when doing so, running against some of the best athletes in the world.  Coach De’Ath has graduated in Strength & Conditioning Science at St Mary's University and Qualified England Athletics Coach. Therefore, when joining the team, you will be in the presence of a coach that holds invaluable knowledge that can be utilised by yourself for that extra advantage to achieving your end goals.
