Tasting Spanish Food
On 26 June a group of 40 students from Year 7 and Year 8 Spanish, went to a Hispanic food restaurant in the center of Gravesend called Rico Sabor. The main purpose of the trip was to give the opportunity to our students to taste Spanish and Latin-American food in order to embrace a part of the culture. The students had the opportunity to try traditional dishes such as Spanish omelette, chilli con carne, patatas bravas and churros con chocolate, and exotic drinks such as Guava juice.
It was pleasant to see students being nice and polite in a restaurant while enjoying time with their peers in a different environment.
