Our last Ofsted visit (October 2012) rated our sixth form as good, commenting that “Students make good progress and almost all continue with their education because the course which they follow have been tailored well to meet their needs”. We have excellent and dedicated staff who deliver high quality lessons to ensure all achieve the highest standards. Our functionally beautiful building provides access to wonderful facilities in the Creative and Performing Arts, Science, Engineering and Physical Education. In addition we have high levels of ICT access for students, including large numbers of Apple computers.
Students are treated in a mature way supporting them to develop a responsible and respectful approach which is more closely linked to the world of work. We have an extensive PHSE programme which aims to encourage our students to become active citizens. Our sixth form is exceptionally well led by Mrs Donaldson and her team. I hope that you get time to contact her for a visit as I am sure if you do will be extremely impressed with what NTC has to offer.
