Please do not bring expensive items or large sums of money to school. All electronic devices are brought in at the owner’s risk and must be turned off in class.
The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of any such items. If any are handed in to a member of staff – either for safe keeping or through confiscation – and lost, the school will only pay a maximum of £50 on receipt of a replacement invoice, towards an excess insurance contribution as parents should ensure that all such items are covered by their household insurance or other policies.
Lost property should be handed to a member of staff (or to Pastoral Support) in the Zone that the item is found in where it will be homed until collected. Any named items will be returned to the owners Community Hub. Other lost property found in the outside areas of the school or restaurant area will be taken to Student Support.
Please ensure that all clothing & equipment has its owner’s name on it.
Breaks & Lunchtimes
All students must stay on the school premises at all times during breaks including once they have arrived at school in the morning.
Packed lunches may only be eaten in the designated areas. Drinks may be purchased from the restaurant. You must not eat or drink in classrooms or corridors at any time.
Mobile Phones, Devices & Headphones
Mobile phones are allowed to be brought into school, however, the school accepts no responsibility for any loss or damages and all mobile telephone devices are brought to school at the owners risk.
Mobile phone and use of other electronic devices falls within the parameters of the school’s Student Code of Conduct for ICT policy
Mobile phones and/or Headphones are not to be used during lesson times unless for educational reasons as allowed or instructed by a member of staff.
Failure to comply with school rules will result in sanctions being issued .
